Secluded Farmhouse Bed & Breakfast

I want to personally welcome you to Beera Farmhouse. If you’re looking for peace, quiet and quality, then you have just found the B&B for you.

Beera is situated right on the border of Devon and Cornwall, the 170 year old Beera Farmhouse commands stunning views across the beautiful Tamar Valley, a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB).

My husband Robert farms 180 acres of land which forms part of the Hardicott estate, we have approximately 1000 breeding ewes, and a small pedigree Charolais herd. We grow grass for the sheep and cows to eat plus we harvest some of the grass ready for the winter months to feed indoors.

Don’t just take our word for it, here is what our customers say:

Everything you would expect from a 4 star Bed & Breakfast and more…

…a top-rate B&B that beats the best any hotel can offer

After your stay, I hope you’ll be saying the same to your friends.

Hilary Tucker,  Proprietor

Nothing less than perfection

You know what you expect when you arrive at a good B&B, a friendly welcome, a cup of something warm, a clean and well appointed room and a relaxing lounge area to relax in.

At Beera Farmhouse, you get all this, and more! If you’re arriving in the afternoon, why not let me indulge you in a complimentary classic Devon cream tea served with freshly baked, home made scones, a choice of tea or coffee and some of the best local cream and jam. If it’s cold outside, come in to the lounge and relax in front of the wood burner. If it’s warm outside perhaps you’d like to have your cream tea on the terrace garden and take in our fabulous views.

Lounge

The lounge has extensive views over the garden and countryside. You can play the piano, listen to music, watch TV, play board games whilst sitting beside a cosy log fire to warm you up on those cold winter nights. The large collection of route maps and guide books in the lounge library is sure to turn up the perfect walk or day out whatever your ability or plans.

Your Dining Room

The breakfast room has separate dining tables and affords views over the garden and local countryside.

As a trained chef, Hilary will delight you with a choice of cooked breakfast options all prepared and served the way you expect from a 4 star B&B. Perhaps you’d like the classic Farmhouse breakfast, delicious poached eggs on your choice of toast, or even scrambled eggs with smoked salmon in a toasted bagel. Whatever your dietary needs / requirements, a Beera Breakfast is an experience you don’t want to miss.

On selected evenings by request, Hilary can offer a sumptuous evening meal cooked to perfection. All made from locally grown produce and hand-reared farm stock. Why not also invite your friends or family to come and dine with you!
